Welcome to our little piece of paradise

Hidden Valley Camping is a small, family-run glamping and camping site tucked away in the heart of the Teme Valley, set within a landscape so unspoilt it feels as though you could be anywhere on the planet. As darkness falls, vast, inky skies reveal a breathtaking canopy of stars, and at first light the valley comes alive with a dawn chorus so rich and immersive it truly has to be heard to be believed.

Our ethos

We’re keen campers ourselves and understand the importance of having space and privacy. Hidden Valley is a place of solitude, with guest numbers intentionally kept low. With just two bell tents and a small number of tent pitches set within our ancient nine-acre orchard, you’re guaranteed plenty of room to relax and unwind.

Our aim is to offer a low-impact, sustainable and eco-friendly campsite. This is very much a field on a working farm, designed for those seeking peace, quiet and a genuine back-to-nature camping experience rather than a busy holiday park.

Facilities are simple, comfortable and kept clean. Currently these include composting toilets, a gas-powered shower and a covered washing-up area. There is no mains electricity on the campsite, with lighting in the facilities block powered by solar energy.

Hidden Valley is a car-free site, which works particularly well for families. The car park is a short walk from the pitches, and wheelbarrows are available to help transport kit. If we’re around, you may occasionally be able to hitch a lift on the quad bike and trailer, though this can’t be guaranteed.

We’re always keen to hear comments or suggestions on how we can continue to improve Hidden Valley and make your stay even more comfortable.

What our guests say

Below are just a handful of reviews from previous guests. Please feel free to see our reviews on Pitchup, Hipcamp, TripAdvisor, google and anywhere else you may find us.

  • We were all really impressed with the accommodation and facilities on the site. The views from our tent made our experience even more better. Carole Donnan
  • We stayed in 1 of the bell tents which was spotlessly clean and really well furnished with lots of candles and and fairy lights for a really magical look in the evening and the separate kitchen hut was really well thought out and provided the perfect balance of amenities versus the back to basics element of camping that my family love. Will 100% be returning soon! Thank you. Thomas Bird
  • Me, my partner and our little girl (6) stayed in one of the bell tents at Hidden Valley for 2 nights and it was just perfect. The views were stunning and the surroundings were beautiful. This is our first time camping with our little one as I was never a fan but honestly, I couldn’t want for more.. I really loved our stay :) Danielle Hodge
  • This is our second visit to Hidden Valley Campsite. We camped in the top field a couple of years ago and fell in love with the peaceful setting and scenary of this campsite. We returned again this summer and stayed in one of the bell tents and we were not disappointed. The bell tent and kitchen hut were very clean and well equipped. The individual kitchen huts are a great idea with the right amount of utensils to make family cooking easy. The owners were really helpful and genuinely friendly. This is a great site, lovely place to relax and explore the surrounding countryside. Our children are already asking when we will be going back so we will definitely be returning. Thanks! • Booked this as a surprise birthday treat and in spite of the wet weather, it did not disappoint. The location is scenic and peaceful (aside from the amazing dawn chorus!) with lots of space between you and your nearest neighbours. The bell tents have been thoughtfully furnished, are cosy and comfortable, and with the lanterns lit, look quite magical. The little ‘kitchen’ hut was well equipped and it was fun to use the fire pit. The owners were helpful and friendly but unintrusive. All in all, a great place for quiet getaway - all the fun of camping with added home comforts and without all that packing. Anne
  • I don't really want to write a review because I want to keep this beautiful place a secret for myself. It is such a lovely peaceful place, so quiet, only the sounds of the farm animals and wildlife to be heard. Lovely, friendly owners there to lend a hand if needed but largely left to our own devices. Free to roam the extensive lands and plenty of beautiful countryside to be enjoyed, didn't see a soul apart from cows! Night sky worth a mention as so clear and unspoiled by unnatural light. Can't wait to go back! Nicola
